Tour Plan
DOLMABAHCE PALACE
On the European side of the Bosphorus strait, in Istanbul's Besktas neighborhood, is where you can find the Dolmabahce Palace. From 1856 until 1922, it functioned as the principal administrative hub of the Ottoman Empire, with the exception of the 22-year (1887–1909) period when Yldz Palace was utilized. Five million Ottoman mecidiye gold coins, or 35 tonnes of gold, were spent on the building. The symmetrically designed, three-story palace features 285 rooms and 43 hallways.
YILDIZ ROYAL GARDEN
These magnificent gardens provide a welcome respite from the hustle and bustle of the city. Visitors will be able to appreciate the splendor of Yldz Royal Garden, which serves as a monument to the once-powerful Ottoman Empire.
SHOPPING OPPORTUNITY
At this point in the tour, visitors could be given the opportunity to shop. We'll eat lunch at a nearby restaurant.
CITY WALLS
The old city's perimeter walls date back more than 1600 years, and as you drive through the ruins of these magnificent buildings, you can imagine how powerful the old city must have been in its heyday.
GOLDEN HORN
The entry from the Bosphorus is the widest portion and is roughly 8 kilometers long. With a capability to build 300 boats at once, it served as a dockyard for the Ottoman Navy. The excursion arrives at this location by bus and ends with a cable car ride.
CABLE CAR & PIERRE LOTI HILL
The hill, which bears the famous French author's name, offers breathtaking views of the city and Golden Horn from the comfort of a cable car.
BOAT TRIP ON THE BOSPHORUS
After the breathtaking sights of Golden Horn, you will embark on a cruise that travels between the two hemispheres. One of the most affluent estate regions from bygone eras will be seen and described, passing through the Dolmabahce and Beylerbeyi Palaces, wooden houses and mansions up to the Rumeli Fortress.
THE RUMELI FORTRESS (SEA VIEW, NO INTERIOR VISIT)
On a hill on the Bosphorus' European side is the Rumeli Fortress. Before he took control of Constantinople, Mehmet II, the Ottoman Sultan, constructed it between 1451 and 1452.
THE LEANDER’S TOWER (SEA VIEW, NO INTERIOR VISIT)
It is one of the emblems of Istanbul and was formerly a watchtower and lighthouse. Guests will be transported back to their hotel at the conclusion of the tour.
