About This Experience
Overview
The first stop on the 20-day Turkey tour is Istanbul, where we'll visit the most significant remnants of Constantinople's former grandeur. Gallipoli, the Dardanelles, and Canakkale will be visited as we learn more about the battles that were attacked in Turkey. Check out Troy and the ruins from the Trojan War. We'll view the Pamukkale white limestone waterfalls as we stroll through Ephesus, the site of the biblical city. After seeing Fethiye, we'll keep cruising the Mediterranean. Before returning to Istanbul, where the tour comes to a conclusion, we will visit Ankara, the capital of the country, and Cappadocia, the home of the Fairy Chimneys.

Tour Plan
Day 1 : Istanbul
You will be met at the gate and taken to your hotel after landing at Istanbul Ataturk airport. After a quick introduction, you will spend the rest of the day to explore Istanbul on your own.
Day 2 : Istanbul Walking city tour
After breakfast, we'll pick you up from your hotel and take you on a full-day tour of the Old City, including stops at Hagia Sophia, the Blue Mosque, Topkapi Palace, the Hippodrome, and the Grand Bazaar. Open afternoon. Stay the night in Istanbul. (Brunch & Lunch)
Day 3 : Istanbul
Free day to independently explore Istanbul.
Day 4 : Gallipoli Tour
Early in the morning (06:00), we will pick you up from your accommodation and drive you to Gallipoli. Dardanelles, Brighton Beach, Beach Cemetery, ANZAC Cove, Ariburnu Cemetery, and ANZAC Monument Site are all visited in one day. Turkish 57. Army Regiment Graveyard, The Nek, Chunuk Bair New Zealand Memorial, Respect to Mehmetcik Statue, Lone Pine Australian Memorial, Johnstons Jolly (Turkish and Allied canals and tunnels), and Turkish 57. The excursion will include lunch, and it will end with a transfer to a hotel in Canakkale. (Lunch)
Day 5 : Troy and Pergamum tour
Depart for a half-day tour of Troy after breakfast. We will visit the Trojan Horse, Helen of Troy, where more than ten Biblical towns dating back to 3500 BC have been discovered, built one on top of the other. After Troy leaves for Pergamum and tours Acrapol, they take a bus to Kusadasi where they spend the night. (Brunch & Lunch)
Day 6 : Ephesus tour
After breakfast, at 9:00 am, we will go for a full-day tour of the Ephesus Ruins. See the Home of the Virgin Mary, the Hadrian's, Celsius, and the Temple of Artemis. The tour includes lunch, and after it is complete, a transfer to a hotel is made for the night in Kusadasi. (Brunch & Lunch)
Day 7 : Free day in Kusadasi
You have the day off to explore Kusadasi on your own. It could be a good idea to visit Sirince Village or one of the beaches nearby. (Breakfast)
Day 8 : Pamukkale & Hierapolis Tour
After breakfast at 8:00 am, you will be picked up from your accommodation for a full-day guided tour of Pamukkale and Hierapolis. Pamukkale, which translates to "cotton castle," was created over time by calcium carbonate-rich natural hot springs that run down the slope and create an unnatural landscape of mineral forests, petrified cascades, and terraced pools. We'll also go to Hierapolis, an old Greco-Roman health resort known for its hot thermal springs (they have been using as a spa since the 2nd century BC). and historic buildings like the Theater, the Apollo Temple, the Agora, and the Necropolis. Drive to Fethiye after the tour is over. Sleep in Fethiye. (Brunch & Lunch)
Day 9 : Free day in Fethiye
Following breakfast, you have the day to yourself to explore Fethiye; alternatives include the Blue Lagoon and Kayakoy. Spend the night in Fethiye. (Breakfast)
Day 10 : Blue Cruise
Around 11:00 or 12:00, a driver will pick you up from your accommodation and take you to the harbor in Fethiye, where you can go swimming and have lunch. Our next stop is Butterfly Valley, where we'll go swimming and explore this natural reserve that is home to 136 different species of butterflies and moths (sea conditions permitting). Next, if the seas permit, we continue on to Oludeniz (The Blue Lagoon). There is a paragliding option. Saint. Nicholas Island is the day's final destination. first night, dinner, swimming, and Byzantine ruins. (Mealtimes: (Lunch, Dinner))
Day 11 : Blue Cruise
Arrival at Firnaz Bay in Kalkan before sunrise for brunch and swimming. While on the way to Kas, we make a lunch break in the harbor and explore this quaint fishing community. Just the Roman theater and the Lycian rock tombs and sarcophagi remain of Kas's old Antiphellos. Nevertheless the town's allure is still there! We pause for swimming, dinner, and the second night in a bay close to Kekova. (Mealtimes: (Lunch, Dinner))
Day 12 : Blue Cruise
Arrival at the Sunken City of Kekova after breakfast (this Lycian-Roman archaeological site is protected; just viewing is permitted!). Simena is a typical Turkish fishing town with a Byzantine/Ottoman castle and no vehicular access. Optional water sports are accessible in Gokkaya Bay. Have dinner and unwind in this pirate refuge. Day 13 : Blue Cruise
We explore the Pirates Cave after breakfast before sailing to Andriace harbor. Arrival at the dock before lunch. After we arrive at 13:00 or 15:00, you will be transferred to the bus station where you will board a bus bound for Antalya. Upon arriving, you will be taken to your hotel for the night. (Breakfast)
Day 14 : Fethiye to Antalya
Spend the day at leisure exploring Antalya before staying the night. (Breakfast)
Day 15 : Antalya to Cappadocia by plane via Istanbul
Go to the airport following breakfast to catch a flight to Cappadocia via Istanbul. Once in Cappadocia, make your way to your hotel. Spend the night in a hotel underground in Cappadocia. (Breakfast)
Day 16 : Northern Cappadocia tour
Following breakfast at the hotel, we will pick you up at 9:30am and take you to the meeting place where the full-day tour of Northern Cappadocia will begin. See the Devrent Valley, Pasabag, the historic village of Cavusin, the Goreme Open Air Museum, and the Avanos ceramic studios. The tour ends at 17:00, and we'll arrange for transportation back to the hotel. Time to yourself and a night in Cappadocia. (Brunch & Lunch)
Day 17 : Southern Cappadocia
At 9:30 am, we will arrive and pick you up from your hotel after breakfast. Take a tour of Southern Cappadocia for the entire day. Uchisar Castle, Pigeon Valley, the Underground City, and hiking in one of the most picturesque valleys are all included in the tour. Tour ends; continue to your accommodation for the night. Day 18 : Cappadocia to Hattusas and Ankara (only driver and car - no guide)
Leave for Hattusas, the capital of the Hittite kingdom, after breakfast. Anatolia has a more than 4,000-year history with the Hittites. Drive to Ankara after Hattusas and spend the night there. (Breakfast)
Day 19 : Istanbul
Pick up from the hotel and transfer to the airport for your trip to Istanbul after breakfast. Istanbul airport transfer to accommodation. You have the day off to go shopping in the Great Bazaar or to see Istanbul once more before leaving Turkey. Istanbul overnight stay and free time. (Breakfast)
Day 20 : Istanbul
Following breakfast, transportation to the airport will be offered in accordance with the timing of your flight.
