About This Experience
Overview
You will experience a fully guided tour of the only metropolis to span two continents on our Flying Carpet Tour. The Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace, and Hippodrome are all visible. We travel to the Gallipoli War battlefields and Troy, the legendary home of the Trojan Horse. See the majestic acropolis, temples, and library of Pergamum. The most well-preserved ancient city in Turkey is Ephesus, which also houses the Temple of Artemis, one of the Seven Wonders of the Biblical World. Visit the Sirince, Carpet Village, village. Hold a showcase of locally made leather goods. See the Hierapolis and Pamukkale. You will also visit Hierapolis, a Biblical city built on hot springs and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. We travel to Fethiye, a tourist destination, Kayakoy, a museum town, and a derelict Greek settlement with two Greek Orthodox churches. See the Mevlana Museum as well as the fairy chimneys, Uchisar Castle, and Ankara in Turkey's Cappadocia region.

Day 1 : Saturday Istanbul
Greetings from Istanbul! At the airport, we will meet you and transport you to your accommodation. The rest of the day is yours to explore at your own speed. Nighttime in Istanbul
Day 2 : Sunday Istanbul Old City
You take a fully guided tour of the only city that spans two continents after breakfast, visiting the Blue Mosque, the Hagia Sophia, the Topkapi Palace, and the Hippodrome. Nighttime in Istanbul
Day 3 : Monday Gallipoli Battlefields
Today, we take a tour of the Gallipoli battlefields from World War One, stopping at the memorials at Lone Pine and Chunuk Bair, ANZAC Cove, The Nek, Johnston's Jolly, and actual trenches and tunnels. Canakkale overnight
Day 4 : Tuesday Troy | Acropolis of Pergamum
Go back in time as we visit Troy and its fabled Trojan Horse, followed by a visit to Pergamum's stunning acropolis. It was a renowned center for politics and culture at the time thanks to its magnificent temples and library. Nighttime Kusadasi
Day 5 : Wednesday Ephesus | Kusadasi
With a tour of Ephesus and a visit to the location of the Temple of Artemis, you can immerse yourself in the past today. Experience the ethereal atmosphere of the ancient city and theater before traveling to Sirince, an ancient Greek hamlet famous for its fruit wines. Day 6 : Thursday Pamukkale | Hierapolis
The great white calcium terraces, also known as the Travertines, are located in Pamukkale, where we will also visit the ancient city of Hierapolis, this morning. Before travelling there, we will have a presentation of locally made leather goods. Swim in the hot springs that were once used for therapeutic purposes in Roman times, amidst Biblical columns. Day 7 : Friday Aphrodisias | Fethiye
Today, as we travel south toward the Mediterranean coast, we stop to explore the biblical city of Aphrodisias. Nighttime Fethiye
Day 8 : Saturday Fethiye
Alternatively, you can experience one of Turkey's highlights on an optional day trip to Saklikent Gorge, the country's largest and deepest canyon, or simply unwind on a day cruise through the 12 Islands of Fethiye. Nighttime Fethiye
Day 9 : Sunday Kayakoy | Antalya
A leisurely morning is followed by a trip in the late afternoon to the tourist city of Antalya. While traveling, stopping in the abandoned Greek hamlet of Kayakoy A night in Antalya
Day 10 : Monday Aspendos | Manavgat Waterfalls
We will go to the magnificent theater at Aspendos today, which is renowned for having one of the best-preserved theaters in all of Asia Minor that is still in use. After that, we'll go to Manavgat Waterfalls for a relaxing resting place. A night in Antalya
Day 11 : Tuesday Konya | Cappadocia
Early departure for Cappadocia with a detour in Konya to see Mevlana Celaleddin Rumi's mausoleum and its accompanying museum. The largest caravansary in Anatolia, Sultanhani, is another reason we stayed this afternoon. Nighttime Cappadocia
Day 12 : Wednesday Goreme | Uchisar Castle
With a fully guided tour of Goreme Valley, the fairy chimneys, Uchisar castle, and more, you may marvel at the lunar landscape. Don't miss the optional evening of authentic Turkish folklore tonight! Overnight Cappadocia
Day 13 : Thursday Ihlara Valley | Underground City
Today, we traverse the breathtaking Ihlara Valley and investigate the numerous levels of an underground metropolis. Nighttime Cappadocia

We leave early for the capital of the country, Ankara, where, before heading back to Istanbul, we visit the illustrious Mustafa Kemal Ataturk's mausoleum, Anitkabir. Nighttime in Istanbul

Our tour comes to an end after breakfast, and we'll take you to the airport to catch your next flight.
